The Final Season of

Seeker Springs Youth Basketball

What a privilege God has given us here at Seeker Springs to be used to share the great news of the hope we have in Jesus through so many different ministries.  It is hard to believe, but this was our 20th season of Seeker Springs Youth Basketball.  We have seen hundreds and hundreds of kids come through this league and thank the Lord for the opportunity to not only see them grow and develop on the court, but to also teach them what it means to be the young men and women God intended them to be.  To see them learn scripture, excited to pray and understanding more what truly is “The Win” in life.

We believe this league is valuable to the kids and families in our community and want to see it continue for years and years to come.  But after much prayer and consideration over the past several years, the staff here at Seeker Springs, along with our league Director and the Board of Seeker Springs has determined that its time here has been completed.  Even though its time here is over, we believe local churches can take this league to a greater level than we can.  We have, and continue to communicate with churches and are committed to doing everything we can to help this league continue and make the transition as smooth as possible.  Coming to this point has not been easy and it is hard for us to let go, but we feel confident this is what God is directing us to do.

Please pray that God will give all involved wisdom as our community seeks to provide opportunities for our kids to grow up in an environment where they not only grow physically and athletically, but are taught to love God and to love others.  We all want to be faithful and effective with the time and the opportunities we have with our kids because they do grow up way too fast.

We want to thank all of you who have joined with us through the years to provide this league!  We look forward to seeing what new things God is going to do here at Seeker Springs and with this league.

We press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 3:14
