MISSION CAMPS are the HEART of SEEKER SPRINGS!
Because of the support of churches, companies, individuals, and associations/foundations, we are able to offer camp at no cost to children who might not otherwise be able to ever have a camp experience. Each year we have 4 mission camps during the summer as well as 3 weekend camps throughout the rest of the year.
We are able to serve underprivileged children and children in foster care in our community through these camps. These children get to experience a peaceful, natural setting where they are offered the opportunity to partake in all the fun camp experiences, often for the first time. Some have never been swimming, roasted a marshmallow, been on a nature trail, but most importantly, some have never had the opportunity to experience the freedom, peace, joy, and hope that is found in Christ Jesus.
Through the years, many of our mission campers have began a relationship with God and some have grown to be leaders for others in their situation. In addition, we have enjoyed the blessing of developing relationships with them as well. This camp is a model of what the Christian community is all about crossing cultural boundaries for the sake of the Gospel!
